Aziza's "Mishap" Narrative

I have lived in village for all my childhood. There are many farms in the village. Also, my relatives lived in it. I went to them.

 One day, when I was walking with my relatives, I saw the sunset. It was so late when I was going home. May be, my mother would be angry with me. I gathered the toys and I was going home. I had to go home quickly. I decided to choose the other road, it was a short road. But I did not know  this road.

It was getting dark. Suddenly I saw a woman. I was afraid of her. The woman looked like a ghost . But I decided to come to her. When I approached to her I saw that it was a monument. And the monument looked like a woman.

Aziza's "UK University" Excursion

British universities tend to have a strong reputation internationally for two reasons: history and research output. Britain's role in the industrial and scientific revolutions, combined with its imperial history and the sheer longevity of its Ancient Universities, are significant factors as to why these institutions are world renowned. The University of Cambridge, for example, has produced 83 Nobel Laureates to date - more than any other university in the world.

The reputation of British institutions is maintained today by their continuous stream of world-class research output. The larger research-intensive civic universities are members of the Russell Group, which receives two-thirds of all research funding in the UK.

The perceived ranking of top British universities is also heavily influenced by the popularity in recent years of newspaper league tables which rank universities by teaching and research.[citation needed]. Only 3 universities in Britain have never been ranked outside the top 10, with Oxford, Cambridge and the London School of Economics having become constant features at the summit of national ranking tables.

Based on Wikipedia

As for me, I think UK University are very effective. But these university have a major disadvantage. It's their cost. The average yearly cost  university can be around  1000euro.But despite the price, I would like my child to at  UK University

The little girl was walking the forest alone when she saw a cave.
Suddenly she noticed the green being with hair. It was very the Grinch.
She heard him crying and his groanings, and he saw her.
So then she learned of his plans and tried to persuade from it.
Eventually the day of vengeance came.
According to this plan, the Grinch dressed in Santa Claus and even come into the first house.
He insisted that the inhabitants had been rude and impolite, they had been happier than he.
The girl said that the Grinch liked Christmas and loved the people in the deep of heart, whereas he said that the inhabitants had expelled him.
She was absolutely certain that the Grinch had stolen Christmas because of loneliness and envy.
The girl mentioned the fact that Christmas wasn't only gifts, but it was the family holiday and the mood of the soul.

Anna's "Narrative 1"Excursion

Paris story

There is a saying that if you want smth to know and to be done well, do it yourself. So, the friends - Kate and  Maria were following this wise saying. I must tell this story now.

They decided to go to Paris without their parents. But the parents were against the trip. Maria had told them that she had the brother - Tom and it would be no problem.

The trouble is that her brother had left for Madrid. He couldn't meet their there. The girls were standing in airport. They couldn't  help noticing that the other people saw them strangely. Because they weren't dressed and weren't speaking like they. Unfortunately, Kate had lost the money. She claimed that she had been looking for everywhere, but she couldn't find them.

The girls had met Aaron, who helped them. He was a student. He brought up the both to their hotel.
He said that he was shocked when he saw the little girls among the street in the latest evening. He had many businesses, but he decided to help them.

As I said, if you want smth to know, do it yourself. But it wasn't right in this case. These girls were very young in order to travel without the parents. Finally, the girls had arrived home. But there are many bad stories when the children didn't come back home.

In conclusion, everyone must think many time before they do smth. Anyway, every person has a right of choice.

"Narrative"Excursion

Our sixteenth excursion (Module 3)

We are practising four narrative tenses:

Past Simple (looked out);
Past Continuous (was eating);
Past Perfect (had broken);
Past Perfect Continuous (had been destroying).

This is the 11-sentence story that I had been creating for the forty minutes at the lesson.

My naughty mini pig

My mini pig was just eating some flowers when the neighbour looked out and saw him.
At that moment the neighbour's wife drew up.
She saw her husband running downstairs.
So then they rushed to the pig and tried to catch him.
In the end the neighbour came to me and asked to pay back the damage.
According to the neighbour,  the mini pig had broken three flower-beds.
The neighbour claimed that the pig had been destroying his garden for two weeks.
I said that my mini pig had never entered his garden before, whereas my neighbour said that my mini pig had appeared in the garden at about 9 a.m. five times.
He was absolutely certain that the pig had ruined all rare plants.
He mentioned that they had cost  $ 5,000.
I sighed and phoned my lawyer.

PS
Everything is fictional here. None has suffered any damage.

Anna's "UK Independent Schools" Excursion

Eton College is one of the best known schools in the world. Americans think of colleges as small universities. Colleges in most of the rest of the world are secondary schools, as is Eton College, albeit a prestigious one. This school has produced a different famous people Sir Robert Walpole, Thomas Grey, Robert Halley.

As for me, I think private schools are very effective. But these schools have a major disadvantage. It's their cost. Since they aren't funded by tax dollars, they've 10 change tution. The average yearly tution cost for a private secondary school can be around 6,500 Euro.

On the other hand, private schools have a good quality of education so people say. I consider that the quality of education depends on the school. I don't see the difference between state school and private. Actually, the schools must have good teachers and bright pupils, I think so. Private schools can create their own curriculum which may be an advantage or disadvantage depending on our personal viewpoints.

I like that private school has many opportunities for schoolers. Teachers may be look after every child, because they must follow for their behaviour. I think these schools have large libraries, classes, swimming pools. Teachers get a good wages. I don't like high payment for education.

I'd like to send my child to the state school because I want what will best for his. I want the very best education he will able to possibly receive. And guess what – it will all free! I wouldn't send my children to private school if I had the money.
